Community Commitments

by
Phil Morton

Morton Philips has always enjoyed supporting community and not for profit groups and causes. We value the connections and the difference we can make to people and their organisations.

Individually, Phil is Deputy Chair of Foodbank SA & NT, we all volunteer with Foodbank SA & NT, school commitments with our children and Tara is committee member of West Lakes Sports Club. As a business, we are proud sponsors of Sturt Football Club in the SANFL.

We attend many games through the SANFL season as well as getting along the annual Best & Fairest awards dinner acknowledging senior men, senior women, wheelchair teams, officials and volunteers. We enjoy witnessing their achievements on the field and then celebrating them off the field in a relaxed environment at the newly refurbished and fellow sponsor, Arkaba Hotel.

We congratulate runners up, Casey Voss, India Rasheed and Johnny Phanratry and deserving winners, Will Snelling, Alisha Gepp and Isobel Kuiper and Mat Gregory. Well done to all the award winners from reserves through to volunteers and all those who go above and beyond to contribute to the diverse and inclusive environment at Sturt.

The night provides an opportunity for sponsors, members and players to talk about the season and a little of what lays ahead in the future with passion to continue to improve both individually and collectively. When you belong to a community, you have real appreciation of other peoples' skills and experience, you can learn, admire and grow together.

Thank you to Sturt Football Club for another great year, See you in 2025!

Are you ready to take your next step?
